Dear Paul,
Don’t you think that you’re over reacting slightly!! Sites like yours are supposed to be an information resource and means of communication regarding all aspects of architecture. I am fully entitled to post a request to the architects of Ireland as to whether they would be interested in taking part on About the House.
Furthermore I refuse to believe that your hostile reaction represents the majority of architects in Ireland.
And finally I’d appreciate if you could refrain from swearing at me through email. Perhaps in the future you might be able to come up with more appropriate language to express yourself.
Good day sir

ProduceraboutthehouseParticipantHi all,
second time lucky…I know you’re all probably very busy but we recieved virtually no response to our previous posting – We have received a substantial number of projects to date from Britain and Northern Ireland however we our still looking for projects in the republic which are architecturally and visually interesting.
What can I do to prick the collective consciousness of Irish architects. Please contact us directly on 6617475 or alternatively you can download an application form from our website http://www.rte.ie/tv/aboutthehouse.
Regards
Suzanne

aboutthehouseParticipantHi Hannah,
The project sounds great. When is it commencing, when is it due for completion, are you receiving any grants from The Heritage Council to carry out works??
Do you have any pictures? So many questions.
We are under a bit of pressure to choose our third heritage project so I’d be very grateful if you could get back in touch as soon as possible. The office no is 01 661 7475. You can speak with Suzanne/Ingrid or Deirdre.
Thanks once again
Suzanne
