      Has anyone seen the proposals in todays Indo for the Phibsboro Centre?

      Ok the present building is ugly. But the replacement? A load of rubbish thrown together. It looks like a mad concoction. And then they will leave the main tower intact. This replacement could quite possibly the worst concoction since the ILAC centre.

      Opinions please!!!!

      It was on display (as a 1/100 model) across the road in the estate agents for a while last year. It is truly crap. What did you expect though? A decent building which would add to the area and create a higher profile for quality architecture in an area in dire need of it? Please. Remember the dialling code for this country is +353

      Dressing mutton up as lamb? I can just imagine the half arsed job that will be the result. The only way forward with this monstrosity is take a wreaking ball to it.

      Phibsboro is in dire need of something decent here.
