Greenwich Council and its partners are launching an international design competition to invite proposals to redesign two squares in Woolwich Town Centre. The project is part of a major regeneration programme for Woolwich that is already transforming this historic part of the London Thames Gateway. Expressions of interest are sought from registered architects /landscape architects and architect/landscape architect led multidisciplinary design teams for the redesign of General Gordon Square and Beresford Square. This project will form part of the Mayor’s 100 Public Spaces Programme. The Council’s partners are the Woolwich Regeneration Agency, Design for London and Transport for London.

Application documents can be obtained from http://www.greenwich.gov.uk/woolwich-squares.

The deadline for submissions is 16.00 hours on 19th September 2007.
