Hello, I am looking for a room for a futuristic crime short film. The room must be in Dublin, maybe in a building, but has to give the impression that it is futuristic, colour of white and a cold steely feeling. All suggestions welcome. Thank you

I know that every year in DIT we had an architectural student design competition to design a usuable object such as a shelter, whereby the winning design was eventually built, perhaps you could contact them.

DIT dont do that anymore.
The Science Gallery at Trinity might have something suitable, although I don’t know if they would let it be used for films

Thank you both for your suggestions. I was thinking about Trinity, I’ll give them a shout, I’m also in touch with The Hugh Lane Gallery, downstairs where the bathrooms are is quite odd feeling- futuristic!

Actually if you are contacting TCD the Douglas Hyde is more classically futuristic than the Science Gallery.

Maybe the lighthouse cinema? The spaces are oddly shaped, so might not suit your purposes, but it reminds me of what I thought the future would look like when I was a child.
Haven’t been into it, but the Alto Vetro tower, all glass walls? You might get an apartment between lettings. Course, that may play havoc with your lighting.

I’m curious as to what makes a room “futuristic”? there’s a cool gallery space on Lombard Street
if it’s a white room you want you can take the furniture out of my living room. For the cold steely feeling you can ask my wife to stay in there

I’m going to try The Lighthouse and Lombard St…Is an idea,,,,I’ll get back to you all when I’ve found it! I don’t know what a futuristic room would look like, and white is so cold emmmm but it’s all I can think of
