It’s the very substantial theatre built for Coláiste Mhuire, Oisin – one of the largest of its kind in the city in fact. It is faced in yellow brick and of a 1960s idiom not unlike the doomed Royal Dublin Hotel. The huge double doors punched into the house face on Palace Row give access to a wide corridor which marches through the house out into the covered passageway seen in the aerial view, and into the theatre. Apparently it’s still in decent nick too.
