ParticipantDoes anyone know what this place is/used to be? It looks abandoned and like a total waste of good property.

InactiveIt’s the very substantial theatre built for Coláiste Mhuire, Oisin – one of the largest of its kind in the city in fact. It is faced in yellow brick and of a 1960s idiom not unlike the doomed Royal Dublin Hotel. The huge double doors punched into the house face on Palace Row give access to a wide corridor which marches through the house out into the covered passageway seen in the aerial view, and into the theatre. Apparently it’s still in decent nick too.

Inactivethanks… I had no idea it was connected to Coláiste Mhuire, another waste of a great building and location. I saw a bit of activity at Coláiste Mhuire about 2 months ago, but nothing since. Anyone know what they’re up to there?

InactiveSome scaffolding has gone up behind Coláiste Mhuire last week or 2 weeks ago. I saw lots of movement on the roof today and it looks like some demolition is happening on the roof.
Anyone know if something is finally going to be happening here?
