      Does anybody know the status of the Phoenix Park ‘Arc’ proposal?

      For those who have never heard of it, its a proposal for a very long and narrow curved pedestrian bridge stretching from the phoenix park accross the liffey and into the Kilmainham area.

      DCC are, I think, planning some uber riverside linear park alongside the Liffey, and between that and the renovation of Royal Hospital Gardens/Garden of Remberance the bridge is due to be built. Lutyens had the idea in the 20s :p

      Yeah, has this project been dumped or what, because I’ve heard the people in the park have no problem with it.

      I’ve gotten the feeling that the our governing class is taking the year off, so this might have fallen by the wayside somewhere.
