ParticipantApproved. Design by OMS. Wont be proceeding. One of several reasons is that it’s a casualty of in the Liam Carroll – Dunloe Ewart takeover. Noel Smyth is out and so were some of his projects. In the same neighbourhood the U2 tower being revised upwards to similar height.

ParticipantI always really liked this OMS designed building for SJR – it had the right location and a design that didn’t scream ‘every other building’. I’m still not convinced that Heuston Gate offers the same standard of design – or location. But that’s just me.

ParticipantIt would have been the finest tall building in Dublin. Liam Carroll probably scrapped it because architecture was never really his bag. If he could put up a series of twenty-storey concrete towers on his sites, he would.
