Does anyone have pictures of Ryanair’s second terminal proposals for Dublin, to be called Dublin T2. I believe they will build it (subject to approval) next to the FLS hanger side. It is to be glass and steel and is designed by De Mettam Meagher.
It sounds quite good and would result in the discontinuation of the really ugly Pier A at Dublin airport, so wonderfully managed by Aer Rianta.
There was an article in Business Plus late last year with much better pictures. Tried to scan them but the results were poor. It seems that the first stage will be considerably smaller than what is in the image above.
Looks very good, shame would love to see more, neither Ryanair or the architects have pics, damn.
Do people think this is the likely outcome, given Aer lingus also support it.. Does this mean the death of the McEvaddy project on the other side of the existing airport?
