Is the Jervis Street Shopping Centre under construction there? That would date the picture to about 1995 or so.

That’s the Jervis Street Hospital with enormous 1930s-type blocks to the rear, Andrew. Bizarre place!

Are they three Georgians on Beresford Place beside Liberty Hall?

      A few more……….
As you can see, these are photographs of photographs. Hence the poor quality on my part.
They’re taken from an imaginatively titled book called “Dublin”.
      Published in 1987 by Gill & Macmillan. (ISBN 7171 1529 1).
I doubt they’ll sue me now for reproducing the photographs here !

What a bizarre place for a hospital now you think of it.

Great to see the vintage signs on O’Connell Bridge are still in place

      I actually hate that Bailey’s sign. I hope you’re messing StephenC !

And if anything, that strech along Batch’s Walk has got worse.

Look at the recent paint jobs inflicted on the place.
