“Time and Straw” is novelist Patricia O’Reilly’s radio play (for RTE Radio 1) about the architect and designer Eileen Gray. According to the RTE Press Office’s advanced blurbs, it is a “tale of left bank bonhomie, the search for the new, and the ascendancy presence of a patrician artist”.
Transmission time: 9.02 pm on Tuesday June 5th, RTE Radio 1.

Colette, the avant-garde writer and Gray’s friend: Sharon Hogan
Jacques Doucet, an avid collector of Gray’s work: Gerry O’BrienPatricia O’Reilly is the author of “Once Upon a Summer” (Wolfhound) and “Dying with Love” (Veritas).
