      anyone know what the Irish bit on those peeling plaques (the ones excoriating Alderman Meade) means?

      Incidentally, is there a body responsible for the plaques on the various monuments around Dublin?

      There’s one just across the canal from Mount St, I believe it’s a 1916 memorial, stone tablet with irish text engraved into it, and it’s damn near unreadable.

      Is this the one?

      The bottom bit says “It’s now with an Irish citizen”, referring to the ownership of the building.

      ah great thanks, I was wondering if it meant it was state property……….but didn’t think so given the state of it.
