Planning Permission relates to the land/property and not the person. Once the person has sufficent legal interest in the land/property they can put the planning permission into effect irrespective of whom the permission was granted to, unless restricted by way of a planning condition (mainly effects rural housing).

Inactiveif this is in relation to am application thats subject to the rural housing guidelines, then i would say the opposite is true… the permission is given to the person, not the land…
however in the vast majority of these applications the permission is also applicable to members of the applicants immediate family.. ie brother or sister.. therefore no need to alter anything….
if this is the case id advise you to read the conditions of planning…
