Anyone know how the new Part L regs affect extensions?
e.g. The requirement of using renewable energy production?
This amendment of the Regulations and the guidance in this Document
apply to new dwellings only. This Document does not apply to
– works to existing dwellings – including extensions to existing dwellings,– works to buildings other than dwellings.
– conservatory-style sunspaces that are treated as extensions (see
Paragraph 0.1.6),
– material alterations or material change of use.from
