National Spaced out strategy

On the way home on the bus this evening, three stories caught my eye.

1 A child, aged 7, writing to the newspaper about the failure to build an extension and, get this one, a car park for her school. (Probably Primary)
A long way from the hedge school now, baby.

2. A controversy concerning a bungalow, one that might interfere with the view from Thoor Ballylee, – a view that was admired by W B Yeats. (He died in France, 1939 so is hardly likely to write in now).

3. An interview with a person from Connex (of France, London Commuter and Luas fame) who hoped, mark the word, that there would be an integrated ticket system for LUAS.

Suggesting that even though the LUAS is very late, the decision on this key question has still to be made!

PS Nice of Dublin Bus too not to print the old fares and the new fares on the new leaflet, so that you could work out just how much the 9% “average”increase turned out to be.

Possibly the reason there were so many on the floor of the bus.
