ParticipantEvery year, the Architects Journal magazine publishes the top 100 largest practices in the UK. Also included is a list of the most admired practices. Every year Foster & Partners has romped away with the title of most admired architectural practice, as voted by his peers.
I would be interested to hear people’s views on the architectural firms they most admire in Ireland. Which firms are producing the most interesting and inspiring architecture? I am especially interested in hearing about some of the younger practices who are producing exciting architecture and trying to break onto the architectural scene.

ParticipantYour mail, which raised questions of professional and peer recognition for good practice made me think that you might know if there is a forum in ireland for the consideration of the contributions (positive or negative) or the countless ‘unofficial” architects whose off-the-shelf house plan projects are, like it or not, most characteristic of the rural environment. If you know of any such contexts or debates, I would appreciate your letting me know.
