The list from Limerick Co. Council
http://www.lcc.ie/planning/docs/cdp/ALISTED.docGood to see that Foynes railway station “Station, good Italianate work of ashlar limestone” has appeared on the list. Irish Rail’s heritage officer cound not see the merit of the building and therefore held the view that in the absence of a budget, it was not worth saving.
