      Hi all,

I wonder does anyone know of a laser cutting bereau type service in Ireland please? I’m having a lot of trouble finding one, the nearest I’ve come so far is Germany! If you know of one please could you pass on some contact details…

      Thanks for the help 🙂

It is a major major pain…
Any of the model making companies are unlikely to help you…
I used a signage company there is one out in rathcoole assuming you have a car which I didn’t its expensive and tedious to say the least…
unless of course you know a uni or practice with a machine…

I highly recommend Pressknives. (they changed their name recently but I’m not sure what to)

Ask for Declan or Ken, very helpful, very good operators and have super powerful laser that with cut through 40mm thick steel.

      Thanks for the contacts

Im thinking of doing a contoured section through a building at 1:50. The cheapest i’ve found so far is 1.50 an a1 in Germany-i haven’t found cheaper in Ireland yet.

I’d recommend Phillip Whyte: 01 8329163. ( efjlaser@eircom.net ) We’ve used his services for steel signage and formwork for sculptural concrete, he’s also done some very good architectural models, and knows his stuff when it come to lasers…
