I’ve been asked to look into booking a venue for a Christmas party this year. Company is about 60 people. We had it in in no. 10 Ormonde Quay last year which was great. Any other venues of architectural merit in Dublin that might have the wow factor?

Another rotunda – that of the National Museum. Fantastic space that I believe can be hired out, with catering facilities.

I agree with Paul Tailors hall is a fantastic venue and is not expensive and is positively cheap if you put the event together yourself. The Dead House on Ushers Quay also warrants consideration.

Our company had it’s Christmas party in the Royal Hospital last year. May be a bit big for ~60 persons though!

Dublinia is one of the finest Medeival banqueting halls in the World a true gem; it is needless to say booked out for christmas parties years in advance; It is also fully booked out for almost every date to years end I have been informed.

Banqueting Hall upstairs in Sustainable Living Building on Essex Street West near Civic Offices – might be a bit big though – might be worth getting in touch with temple bar properties

Christmas party in London is the most excellent as well as interesting party venue which can accommodate many members together with many entertainments.

The College of Physicians in Kildare Street is a very attractive space with much of interest. Some rooms are more interesting than others, but I suspect that Christmas bookings should perhaps have 2011 or 2010 in the request box rather than 2008 at this stage. Car parking, for the sober few, possible in this area in multi story locations.
