This pisses me off tbh. Reductions in height in city center are rediculous. No wonder we have two storey houses within 100m of O’Connell Street……….tis a joke Ted.:mad:
Re. phibsboro, looking out my window it would be very close, that’s not a problem, but looking around me, a glass tower in these surroundings would look woeful i’m thinking.
on the issue of 2 storeys 100m from O’Connell, wouldn’t it be great if a commitee could formulate some good high quality uniform designs for 5/6/7 storey buildings and we could start to rebuild and urbanise the outer inner city/inner suburbs in uniform style as opposed to random new apartment blocks in 2 storey land where nothing will eventually become of anything but a big incoherent mess.
oh the dreams….. think i’ll just move to barcelona or something.
