ParticipantHi,
I have done an accounting degree and worked for about a year as an accountant and have realised I really don’t like it so after a lot of thought and discussion I handed in my notice! The other profession I was going to follow was architecture, but for making a mess of my CAO/ CAS form! I was wondering if any students or anyone at all could give me some advice re post graduates or under graduate courses in Architecture in Ireland. I remember that there was a course in DIT which I was going to do when I was doing my leaving cert but as thats a good 5 years ago I don’t know the details or when I would have to apply to have a chance of starting by next term, I guess September/ October 2006. Also I think there was some form of interview or portfolio needed for that.
Any info would be much appreciated for the above or any similiar under or post graduate courses in Ireland or even a good link to another website.
Thanks in advance,
Mike.

ParticipantHello Mike,
perhaps these links may be of some help to you.
1. RIAI Careers Guide
2. RIBA Education DepartmentEach provide fairly comprehensive insights into the various pathways which lead to a career in architecture.
All the best,
Lex
