ParticipantInteresting massing… but i wonder if the precast panels were also imported … does anyone know anything about the buildings on Kevin st and Herbert st with the fussy precast sections… it looks like they were bought up as job lots after another project was pulled..

InactivePaul, I am glad you brought that building up for discussion. It seems strange that no one ever mentions it when they are modernist-bashing. Is this because it is slightly more hidden than some of the others? Does anyone know what is in it at the moment?

Is this because it is slightly more hidden than some of the others? Not to me its not. I look out my window and the corner of it is staring me in the face. It is a particularly unattractive building.

KeymasterDon’t be misled…. I think that my photograph makes it look better than it looks in the concrete flesh…

It just does not seem to get as much abuse on this site as the likes of O’Connell Street House or Liberty Hall. Maybe I should have referred to the fact that it is less central than those as being the reason for less abuse.
