Can anyone recommend some good garden designers / landscape architects?

I’m looking for a contemporary designer with a subtle, ‘low key’ approach (rather than Diarmuid Gavin ‘flare’) with a good understanding of the relationship between architecture and landscape.

The Garden and Landscape Designers’ Association gives a long list but I have not heard of most of them.

Any pointers would be much appreciated!

We’ve worked with the following and all seem really good.

      http://www.howbertandmays.ie/Firstpage.htm
      http://www.sdacla.ie/
      and http://www.dermotfoley.com/

All seemed good to work with and have done some great work.

We have used Bernard Seymour Landscape Architects on Ormond Quay and found them very good -www.bslarch.com

I was made redundant a year ago and I’m really missing getting stuck into landscape design projects. Give me a shout if you need a good landscape designer.
