ParticipantIm currently resident in the UK and would like to make a submission regarding a planning application in Fingal but does anyone know if they will accept my submission if it comes from outside the state? also is Ireland the only cou try in the EU that charges people to exercise their democratic right in the planning process?

InactiveI appreciate your comments but i believe that my question raises broader issues of democratic represenation in the planning system and I have not seen this mentioned previously through my searches, and even if it has been mentioned previously I believe it is worth discussing again. I am surprised that you are alarmed at what I believe to be a perfectly valid discussion point and I did not mention any particular planning application so I cannot see how the forum could be leaving itself open to any legal problems. So my question still stands if anybody is interested in giving their opinion.

InactiveSend in the twenty quid . If they accept it then the answer to your query is “yes” . If they return it the answer is “no” . A quick e maill to FCC would clarify if you don’t want to waste a stamp

InactiveThey have to accept your objection.
There was an objection from an address in Uganda an an application for Cork City Hall a few years ago.
