Foley St

I went down Foley St today for the first time in about three years, the changes are increadible, literally none of the derelict buildings there before haven’t been are aren’t being redeveloped. There is the high profile Steel Works scheme http://www.cbhok.ie and some other what appear to be mostly residential developments.

I took a walk down Killarney St last week to be impressed with the various jobs going on down there between the renovation of St Josephs Mansions and a new Education Centre under construction this once no go Street is begining to turn.

There is also a really good and quite tall apartment building on the Bridge on Summerhill that looks very new, does anyone know who deisgned it?

All in all this section of the city appears to be changing at a rapid pace, mostly for the good I think.
