I would think that Dublin Bus should pat themselves on the back for spending alot of public money installing new yellow and silver bus stops across the capital just a few months before the colour of the buses is set to change. Absolutely desperate planning 🙁

It would be constructive if Dublin bus introduced a circle line bus when the new bridge is finished.
It could run along the Grand canal atop at Luas stops along the way, cross the new bridge, proceed to the north circular road,
stop near Connolly, Drumcondra stations stop at the proposed metro stop at the matter and luas line D, go through the park, cross island bridge
stop near Heuston and continue along the canal, linking all public transport modes

Well, I suppose if you can’t run a competent, well managed and effective public transport you might as well have well-branded but woefully ineffective one!

The 83. What a route. Goes from Harristown towards town via constitution hill and Church street. You would think it crosses the bridge there and makes the journey out to Kimmage, but oh no this is Dublin Bus you’re talking about. The 83 makes a sharp turn left on the quays and continues and crosses O’connell Bridge. Goes to Dame st and goes back roughly in the same direction it came to Head out to Kimmage. Adding an extra 20 mins to the journey. Perhaps DB think that O’Connell Bridge is the only one in Ireland:rolleyes:
