      Hi I want to replace a wooden shed in my garden with a brick built structure, size is going to be approx 12′ long,10′ wideand approx 8′ high, i was told for a structure this small i wouldnt need planning permission, but would like to hear from people who know:confused:

      Grey areas include exempt development which is to the rear of the house but can be seen from the front – and whether or not there are existing unauthorised / exempt developments on the site which would bring the cumulative area over 40m2.

      Have you tried asking your local planners?
