design/detailing/community impact of modern Dublin apartment complexes

paul’s note: this was emailed into me, and I’ve posted it here, and informed declan

As editor of In Dublin magazine i’m helping to put together a feature on the design/detailing/community impact of modern Dublin apartment complexes.

We’re interested primarily in what architects think of
a) the quality of design in terms of creating a livable space
b) the projected lifespans
c) the impact on locale of “gated communities”
d) the alternatives
e) who is to blame, if indeed blame should be apportioned

Thanks for your help in this, and hopefully I’ll hear from you soon…
