Just noticed from last Saturday’s Irish Times that David Watkin, the Cambridge architectural historian and author of Morality and Architecture, The Rise of Architectural History and many others is lecturing this evening in the Royal Irish Academy on Dawson Street at 7.30pm, admission 10euros. Run by the Irish Georgian Society, the title is Pastiche, imitation, revival. If you don’t know him, he’s the biz. They don’t come much finer IMHO.
Not sure if it’s sold out- try info@igs.ie or fax 01-6620290 (IGS fax no.).
