      its amazing how a crane is gone missing of Sir John Rogerson’s Quay and nobody has seen it ,i wonder do any of the the forumers have a photo of it so we know what it looked liked,its probley in some scrap yard by now,
      another piece of our heritage gone:(

      I didnt think it was one of those – there used to be some smaller cranes alongside the entrance to the canal basin.

      if this happened in the uk .heads would rolll big time and police would be involved very sharpish
      , is it a case of turn a blind eye and it will go away

      what the hell are you talking about!?

      I can understand that some people get their knickers in twist over little things like this, but putting a missing crane in the same category as the health system etc. is just ridiculous and is in no way an old Irish attitude.
