ParticipantHi,
Does anyone know of any good online correspondence course that one can do in Architecture? I’m just about to finish my degree in interior architecture!
Thanks for you help. 🙂

InactiveI don’t think it is possible to do it by correpondence as most courses make use of a studio atmosphere, face to face tutorials and most importantly crits, where a level of critical thinking can be encouraged by the group discussion. Not sure what part-time options are available in Ireland at the moment, but this would be a better route.

the above link , is the only “correspondance” type course I am aware of. I would image that you would have to be working in England to complete the course or at least working with a RIBA architect.

InactiveThe Oxford Brookes course in the UK accepts Irish students, two friends of mine both started the course. As far as I know, there is an interview amoung other criteria so you can be accepted. And you need to have tutors (i think its two), one in your workplace, the other outside, to act as your tutors for the duration of the course.
