Wordy High Court judgments can make your head spin. They might be having that effect on the Board going by some of the numbers given in the new Annual Report – 4 and 8 = 2?

During 2006, High Court judicial review proceedings arising
from the Board’s decisions and procedures in relation to
appeals and other matters were instituted in 23 cases (36
in 2005). In the course of the year proceedings were
discontinued or dismissed in 9 cases (10 in 2005). Leave
applications for judicial review were refused in 4 cases (9 in
      2005).

High Court judgements on substantive cases were given in
      2 (7 in 2005) cases, 4 (3 in 2005) of which found in
favour of the Board and 8 (4 in 2005) against.

And across the page in Irish we see this:

      Tugadh breith Ard-Chúirte ar chásanna i 2 cás (7 i 2005), 4
      (3 i 2005) i bhfabhar an Bhoird agus 8 (4 i 2005) ina
      choinne.

I think it looks like they mean 12 instead of 2.
