Anyone like to recommend their favourite abode?
Tidy towns have announced their annual awards. I would imagine any town/village gaining at
least 200 points would be quite a desirable place to live.

A couple of years ago one of the big US magazines (Forbes?) voted Kenmare as one of the world’s best places in which to live. Despite that “accolade” it is undergoing rampant sprawl, has no swimming pool, no cinema, no meaningful facilities or architecture (even Fuller did not do much of a job on the GSH / Park), a constant traffic jam and regularly gets 260+ in the Tidy Towns.

Adare is also a nice town to live in and was a voted won of the prettiest town in Ireland
Birdhill (on the N7)is a nice village too , very tidy, clean and seems
and Ennis won this years tidy town surprisingly when taking the size of the town into mind!

I like the medieval streets ,and is a booming town from becoming the first information age town in Ireland!
as said earlier though all towns are experiencing the sprawl 🙁
