Having trouble identifying a few photos of Bantry
      Can you help

      Former bank perhaps?

      Former school???

Church Hall or small church – seems to be an undercroft which may suggest non-RC as the combined hall / church building seems to be a protestant thing in my experience

I think this is your school.
See the banner photograph at the top of the page.

Another view of your first Photograph.
Might help somebody to identify it.

Bottom photo I think is the Former Methodist church (1842) now the Marino Medical Centre.

Isn’t that near the school too, if not next to it?

Yes the primary makes for a ‘memorable’ landmark on the town square…

The hypocrisy of Irish schools’ boards of management never fails to impress – they actually go out of their way to rip out original fabric in celebration of a centenary or historic occasion. The irony is completely lost on them.
