Arts Council’s Kevin Kieran Award, applications now welcome
The Arts Council now invites applications for the Kevin Kieran Award, which is named after the late Kevin Kieran, architect, tutor and former consultant to the Arts Council.
The award which is valued at €50,000 over a two-year period from 2007 to 2008, aims to support the artistic formation and career development of an architect and to direct funding towards architectural excellence and innovation. The award offers an emerging and gifted architect the opportunity to develop and deliver a research project in the first instance.
Subsequently the architect will be contracted to design and run a building contract for the Office of Public Works (OPW).
The closing date for the Kevin Kieran Award is Friday 17 November 2006 at 5.30pm
