      HI,

      New to site. just have one quick small question. I am getting an extension done(building one storey at the back of house and getting the plans done by a technician. does anyone know if they can sign off on the work, or will i need to get an architect to sign?

      It depends. All technicians can’t sign off on the work. Any ones with enough expeirence and professional indemity insurance can sign off on it. I suggest finding out which section your guy falls into

      Down to the individual concerned. Some of them will have PI and some wont
