    What are the most interesting/beautiful/spectacular ancient buildings in Ireland? Including Ancient Monasteries, Castles, Churches etc

    newgrange, knowth, dowth, the skellig island beehive monasteries, crannogs, glendalough round tower, dun aonghas on Arann, portal dolmens in the burren im sure theres plenty more of interest.

    agreed – almost an endless list – cashel though must be the best. kilmacdough in glawey is a special place too.
