Thats a very good point Graham, but in fairness a few of the better schemes down the Country have been refused or modified beyond recognition the prime example being a certain scheme in Sligo & cork is kind of well covered here already. I suppose you could add:

The Completion of Eyre Square
The Jury’s Scheme in Limerick
Divis Mountain in Belfast
The start of the Western Rail Corridor from Ennis to Athenry

But unfortunately a lot of stuff outside Dublin is not to be celebrated:

Completion of the residential element of the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise
Tara under threat
Demolition of the Slate House in Valentia
