I have to warn you about going along this road on any undertaking in relation to such work.
People can take a little knowledge given in a BBS and then may think they’re competent to do this.

For example, they’ll see something they like and then start thinking just in terms of manpower and planting.
They should be thinking first in terms of soils analysis and drainage as well as community involvement to “buy in” to this.

Otherwse you may find the plants simply die off in a very short time, and without monitoring and awareness vandals may destroy plantings.
It should be undertaken in the context of a community movement with a competent design professional to front the scheme and give it prominance.
