It most certainly is. Great you spotted this one lauder! I passed the house a few months ago visiting people in one of the houses across the road. Extraordinary to encounter such an old house in the midst of the most mind-boggling sprawling 1950s suburbia, and not only standing, but pretty much intact to boot.

Franc Myles did an extremely comprehensive assessment of the building, and believes it to be much older than its outward early 19th century appearance would suggest (though early maps are ambiguous). It could possibly for a former Dutch Billy, or merging of a pair of such houses. There are also later fragments of mid-18th century joinery inside if I recall from his report.

Do a quick planning search for it on DCC’s site and it should pop up. (the last application was refused btw)
