Interesting to see how quickly this could come to fruition. There are plans drawn for some time now but they don’t have planning afaik. It’s in a settled residential area so will the locals want the build going ahead? Also, the stadium is extremely well located, it’s (I’ve timed) 13 mins from the gate of the Market’s field to the door of Nancies by way of leisurely stroll. Would love to see it come into reality, Thomond has been a massive success for Limerick and a facility like this could lead to Irish u21 games being moved to Limerick etc. As it will be open to all sports it could be a great development for the city.
