Sadly, An Bord Pleanala has just approved the City Council’s grant of permission to install glass doors on the Honan Chapel. In my view, this is an awful, awful mistake and the fact that it can be reversed at some later date does not make it any more palatable.
The Trustees, Cork City Council and ABP should hang their heads in shame.
