It is a big site and I agree it can take height and density, but the preferred plan doesn’t limit height to 8 storeys. Exactly. Not just ridiculous but entirely without foundation in any strategy, plan or policy. I suppose they just thought it was, y’know, sexy. More appropriate to the area than the manky bus.

Anyway, this is getting a bit off the topic. So, yes- no excessive height but no excessive conservatism either.
