Touch the earth lightly, is a translation from a very ancient aboriginal belief system. The kind of which modern man has to travel back to appreciate now unfortunately. Like the prospect and refuge idea, we have no real way of telling how far back these ideas go. What is remarkable is how we need to travel back in time, to find assistance to work our way out of modern day difficulties.
