Ahh…..but I have since learned from a Confusiscan like contributor to a Forum in another place that the relevant leglislation contains a get-out-of-jail-free clause (Seemingly an inherent part of ALL native Irish Leglislation)

In this instance even though TWO signs indicate a 3 tonne weight limit access ban and neither have a stated exemption plate there IS an exemption anyway.
All a driver is required to do is show that they are using the route as a form of ACCESS to a location within the area bordered by the signs…..:rolleyes:

Ho Hum….can just see the bright eyed young Gardai snapping their pencils in two as they realize there is yet another “Loophole” which nobody in T-More warned them about !!!! 🙂
