Of all the ones I have seen so far the offices in letterkenny are the most interesting – in that the aesthetic is so removed from the standard highly crafted material style that you would normally associate with the awards. Not that it isn’t well built – but it’s context and handling of the same indicate that our usual treatment of ring road areas need a lot of investiagating.. and this is a really fresh approach.
