Tudor revival residence, believed to have been built on an earlier house, originally set in its own large garden, now part of a busy street-scape.

An unusual design, the two storey keeper’s house is made of local granite blocks, with a small cylindrical lantern section, which is painted white.
Large District lunatic asylum erected to a design by George Wilkinson (1814-90). It has a symmetrical plan comprising nine-bay two-storey central block centred on three-bay two-storey pedimented projecting breakfront with five-bay two-storey projecting “pavilions”
