Cliff House, was rebuilt by a Thomas Conolly, an Irish Conservative Party politician as a summer residence.

With a dome of 52 feet in diameter at the intersection of the nave and sanctuary with the transepts,
Italianate Orange Hall probably by local contractor turned architect Thomas Elliott.
Sandwiched between two modern neighbours, this survivor is finished in Mount Charles sandstone and granite at street level.
Now part of a larger hotel complex – the house was remodelled from a late 18th century house into a Tudor Gothic mansion circa 1840.
