One of the smallest chapels in the world at sixteen feet long by twelve foot wide covering a floor area of 192 feet.
The assize courts were attached to the rear of the Guildhall between 1867-70,
In 1868, an architectural competition was held for a new law courts building for Bristol.
Still in use today as a Church of England Primary School.
Much of the character of the buildings in the town of Weston-super-Mare derives from the use of local stone.
