This imposing building was built for Robert Edward Ward and his family in 1852.
Constructed for the 4th Earl Annesley between 1852 and 1854 in a Scots Baronial style.
Later internal works by Richard Mills Close.
Starting life as a simple single aisle church,
Ballyedmond Castle was a Tudor-Baronial mansion,
Erected in 1857,
Opened by the Belfast and County Down Railway on 10 September 1858,
